Volunteering researcher / practitioner roundtable survey results

Right Lane worked with Volunteering Victoria to conduct a brief survey into links between volunteering researchers and practitioners. The economic value of volunteer services provided by more than one-third of Australians is measured in the billions of dollars, so the connection between research and practice is of considerable importance to the nation. The results of the survey were presented in May 2012, in the lead up to National Volunteer Week, at a volunteering researcher/practitioner roundtable. The roundtable was an initiative of Volunteering Australia’s Volunteering Research Agenda Advisory Group and Volunteering Victoria.
