Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority
The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) is an independent statutory body responsible for the curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students and learners. During 2017 Right Lane facilitated an expert panel review of the VCAA’s Special Provision Policy and procedures. The Special Provision Policy aims to ensure that the most appropriate, fair and reasonable options are available for students to demonstrate their capabilities if their learning and assessment programs are affected by disability, illness, impairment or other circumstances. A significant outcome of this review is the expansion of the policy to cover years 7−12, on both a formal and an advisory level.
