About the pulse check

We have developed a simple and effective diagnostic tool or ‘pulse check’ to inform your strategy refresh or development process. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and should be completed by your senior team members. Once completed, we’ll follow up with a complimentary report summarising the responses including areas of alignment and important questions to consider during your review process.

The survey aims to identify areas of strong alignment as well as opportunities for further discussion, testing, or refinement.

The survey will see responses on 6 key themes:

1. Strategy and strategic plan – Clarity on the organisation’s overarching strategy
2. External environment and forces at work – Understanding of external factors shaping your organisation’s strategic context
3. Company statements – Familiarity with your organisation’s mission, vision, and values
4. Scope choices and areas of competitive advantage – Clarity on where your organisation chooses to focus its efforts and differentiate itself
5. Responsiveness and flexibility – The organisation’s ability to adapt to change and respond effectively
6. Capabilities, measures and targets – Awareness of the capabilities required for success and how performance is tracked
