Fight Cancer Foundation
Fight Cancer Foundation (FCF) is a national charity dedicated to providing care, support, and a sense of ‘home’ for cancer patients and their families. Originally founded in 1989 as the Bone Marrow Donor Institute, FCF now provides short and mid-term accommodation and support services for patients undergoing cancer treatment in states across Australia. It runs the national Footy Colours Day event, to raise and allocate funds for its services and support medical research.
In 2020, FCF engaged Right Lane to help build alignment among Board members on the organisation’s strategic direction. Right Lane helped FCF to articulate the organisation’s unique value proposition and prioritise organisational sustainability in their strategy, and to outline goals and initiatives that would contribute to the strategy. Currently, Right Lane is supporting FCF to design a structure that would improve its fundraising capability and improve its capacity to deliver accommodation and education services.
